What is an Oxy Soaker?

When pre-soaking your Premium or Tencel Better Earthing bedding, we advise using an oxy (oxidising) soaker that does NOT contain chlorine or bleach.

Chlorine and bleach can affect the natural antibacterial fibre’s effectiveness when used repeatedly.

To remove discoloration or stains, use a NON-Chlorine based Oxy soaker such as one made from sodium carbonate (also known as soda ash) and hydrogen peroxide. These work by releasing oxygen once it is exposed to water. This release of oxygen lifts stains and dirt off whatever you’re cleaning. The only by-product is soda ash.
